Here’s yet another felted purse I’ll be listing today on Etsy. I must say I like the flap and plan to make a messenger type bag with the same colour wool and embroidery. It’ll have a much longer strap so you can wear it across your chest.
I sold another bag late last night. That’s always a thrill because I never seem to get away from those looming fears that I won’t succeed in this endeavor. Little signs of encouragement tend to show up to keep me going…..so the minute I’m done posting this, I’ll be picking up the needles to work on a bag in the colour I’m calling “frosty celadon”!
Lots more knitting, felting, and embellishing have taken place at Lilibeth’s Garden. The work that goes into each bag is probably more than one might realize. This is why I usually let out a big sigh of relief as each one reaches the point of completion. Here’s a glimpse of this week’s wares:
These last 2 bags are a new design, though I’ve seen fabric bags similar to this. I had to figure out the pattern as I went along and thankfully it was a success from the get-go. It’s quite involved, but the outcome is worth the time invested. I’ll have to make myself one some day!
I listed 6 bags today, for a total of 7 bags. One has already sold, which is a nice treat! It’s been challenging to get back into doing this full time, but hopefully I’ll find my rhythm and list new ones on a regular basis.
Here’s a sneak peek at some of the bags I plan to list in my etsy shop this week:
